Purpose: Warm up the body, build confidence in poses, and inspire creativity.


First Move: Dance Walk
Center with the music, breathe in, feel that beat in your body.
Step, step, step, step, take it for a walk.
Keep it little at first so you’ve got time to dance it in your body.
Let yourself dance, show me your style, make it funky and cool.
Can you feel that poppy, confident groove?
Travel sideways, backwards, around each other, use the whole space.
Dance with each other as you pass by, keep that confidence lifted.
You could add your head and eyes, let your face dance too.
Use those legs as you travel, warm the body from the ground up.
You can’t get it wrong, dance it your way.


Second Move: Two Poses and Shake It Down
Get ready, pose it, pose it, then shake your body down.
Every time, give me a new kind of pose, face a new wall.
Use your legs as you go down and up, shake it through different body parts.
What other body part could you shake right now?
Push up the walls, take up space, be bold and confident.
Travel out of it, walk, walk, walk, then hit that pose again.
Maybe take a dance walk with somebody and then move on.
If you hear the pose but it’s not clear, just keep walking and stay with the groove.
Do something that puts a smile on your face.
Make it yours, show off your style, you can’t get this wrong.
